A veteran teacher of 18 years, I have a passion for teaching middle school students and helping them realize their potential. I earned my undergraduate degree from UNC and my master's from UNCG. I am a National Board certified teacher and was even awarded Guilford County School Teacher of the Year in 2008. I myself grew up in Greensboro, lived out West for a time, and then found my way back home. I have two sons, Tyler and Cooper, and a dog, Bingo. In my off time, I enjoy reading, golf, watching movies, and going to the local arcade.
