The 2019-20 school year is my 28^th year teaching in North Carolina. In my college days, I attended Appalachian State and UNCG. I have been married to my husband, David for almost 30 years. We have three children, two sons and a daughter, as well as two daughter-in-laws. My oldest son, Josh, is a graduate of NC A&T University and married his beautiful wife, Taylor in October of 2017. Bryan, my middle child is a student at GTCC, works at the Brassfield Chick-Fil-A, and married his gorgeous wife, Josy in September of 2017.  Our daughter, Katie is a junior at UNCG studying education.

This year, we will be working together to make this an exciting, wonderful learning experience for all. Throughout the school year, I plan to implement lessons and activities that evoke enthusiasm, boost self-esteem, and create an environment that fosters academic excellence. Children will be taught at their individual levels and you will notice a lot of differentiation both in class and in the homework. I will make sure that your child knows the Math curriculum for their specific course, and will enhance and enrich from there. Along with your assistance at home, we can prepare your child for a future that will have them functioning at their highest academic potential.
