Ms. Lindsey Clinton
Assistant Principal
Ms. Clinton received her BFA in Theatre and Dance from Valdosta State University, her MFA in Directing from CUNY Brooklyn College in New York, and her Post Masters Certificate in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
She is a veteran teacher, performer, director, choreographer, make-up artist and stage combatant whose professional credits include Prospect Theatre Company in NYC, Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival, Camden Summer Theatre, Footworks Dance Studio, Performer's Edge Dance Center, numerous production companies in Los Angeles, CA and the former resident summer theatre director for Theatre Arts and Dance Alliance in Tampa, FL.
Ms. Clinton is a proud former member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab in NYC, Broadway Teachers Workshop and the NC Theatre Arts Educators.
She began teaching theatre at Weaver in the fall of 2009. During her tenure, some of the highlights include: Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, educational trips to London, NYC, and Walt Disney World, ESU Shakespeare Competitions, August Wilson Monologue Competitions and numerous school day performances of: Oedipus the King, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Hamlet.
For two years, Ms. Clinton served as the administrative intern at Weaver and is beyond thrilled and extremely excited to be appointed Assistant Principal.
