As a member of the performing and visual arts (PVA) faculty at Weaver I've taught the following courses:
* Orchestral Strings
* Basic Musicianship
* Music History
* Jazz Performance
* AP Music Theory
My schedule for the 2021-2022 school year is listed below:
1st Block (9:15-10:45AM) - Planning
2nd Block (10:50AM-12:20PM) - Intermediate Strings (9th grade)/Honors Strings Proficient (10th grade), Honors Strings Advanced (11th and 12th grades),
3rd Block (1:10-2:40PM) - Honors Music Theory (fall), AP Music Theory (spring)
4th Block (2:45-4:15PM) - Honors Music Theory (fall), AP Music Theory (spring)
Please congratulate Weaver string students Sunny Bell (violin), Yeyul Lee (violin), and Xul Rutty (bass) for being selected as the Western Region participants for the NC Honors Orchestra event upcoming in November 2021. The competition was intense this year since because of covid circumstances many fewer string players were accepted. Only two other GCS students were invited, one violist from NWHS and one bassist from SWHS.
