Mrs. Meredith Boger

Greetings and Welcome to Johnson Street Global Studies!

I am your principal, Meredith Boger, and I am honored to serve the students, teachers, and families of Johnson Street Global Studies. There is truly no place like JSGS! We are a unique K-8 community of world class learners-integrating global and cultural studies into our classroom curriculum and school-wide programs. We offer music, art, career and technical education, physical education, art, foreign language, and a variety of clubs and enrichment activities. Our staff is committed to fostering a supportive, caring environment that empowers students to grow to their maximum potential.

Twenty-two years ago, I began my career with Guilford County Schools as an English teacher at Western Guilford and Kernodle Middle Schools. I taught for 16 years before coming to Johnson Street to serve as Assistant Principal and now Principal. In my time away from school, I enjoy traveling, interior design, kickboxing, serving at my church, and hanging out with my husband and two teenagers.

Learning is one of my passions-as I learn and grow, I strive to help others do the same. I enjoy helping our students embrace a growth mindset, which in turn helps cultivate a love of learning in their own lives. It is a privilege to serve our children and a joy to be a part of their educational journey.

I am grateful for the tangible support of our families, local businesses, and community leaders. Together we are investing not only in the lives of our students, but in the future of our community. I look forward to strengthening these partnerships, all the more, as we grow and empower the next generation of world-class learners!
