Welcome to my homepage!  My name is Donna Pelikan and I am an EC teacher for Guilford County.  I have been with Guilford County Schools for 11 years now and have been at Sedgefield Elementary the entire time. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Kindergarten and now teach special education - all grades. I really enjoy working with small groups of students and working with lots of different grade levels.  Before I moved to North Carolina, I lived in Florida and taught Kindergarten there.  Before that I lived in Pennsylvania and taught Preschool Special Education.  I have been teaching for over 22 years. 

I am married and have 2 children.  They are both in high school.  My son attends the Middle College at GTCC in High Point and ny daughter attends the Early College at Guilford College.  I currently have 3 dogs, but have owned as many as 5!  In my free time I enjoy reading and watching movies and spending time with my family. My dream is to go to Italy one day.
