I began my career as a teacher-librarian in 1993. Many factors influenced my decision to become a librarian, but I continue in this exciting, ever-changing career because I believe our society is best served by citizens who know how to find, evaluate, interpret and think critically about information so that they can make informed decisions.
I came to Jesse Wharton in 2005 and I have stayed here because I love working at a school that truly puts the interests of the students first. The faculty and staff here work not just as a team, but as a family to support one another and our mission of helping students achieve their full potential.
