SAT/ACT Fee Waivers
Student's need to prove that they are eligible for a fee waiver by having a form signed by their parents and providing documentation. There are waiver request forms on the bookshelf in the hallway and from the School Counseling Secretary. Usually the proof they provide is the free lunch confirmation letter from GCS nutrition services. They bring the form and proof to me and I give them the waiver.
Starting last year for SAT only, if a student has previously used a SAT fee waiver, they do not have to get another waiver from us. They will see their fee waiver allowance in their CollegeBoard account. They are only allowed 2 for the SAT with or without Essay, and up to three SAT Subject Tests on one test day. Anything after that, they have to pay the registration fees.
