Welcome to Traditional Art with Mrs. Silver

In Traditional Art we focus on what you might consider the "traditional" materials.  We spend a lot of time with the basics of drawing using pencil and paper, but we also explore watercolor, clay, collage, and 3-dimensional forms.  At each level, the students are pushed to learn how to observe an object and recreate it on their paper, but was also spend time with a few abstract concepts as we connect to Art History.  

For Art Class it is important that all students have pencils and erasers, and a sketchbook.  A hand-held pencil sharpener is optional but helpful in class.
