Kiser Middle School Band

2022-2023 

The Kiser Middle School Band has enjoyed a tradition of excellence since the school's inception. This program is dedicated to giving students the chance to grow musically, socially, and academically. The purpose of our program is to impart an appreciation of music to all of our students through study, practice, and performance. Students will have opportunities to participate in our concert bands, jazz ensemble, pep band, full orchestra, percussion ensembles, collaborations with the Grimsley High School Band plus the Music in the Parks Festival. Additional musical extension opportunities are offered through the audition only GCS all-County and NC Central District band clinics. Our band program is committed to high standards. The Kiser Middle School Band program encompasses a rich musical history and has won numerous awards at festivals and competitions. Students should at all times try to do their best to improve their own performance and the performance of the group as a whole. We have a very busy year ahead; it will require diligent work, as we continue to build upon the success of the band. At Kiser Middle School, where every day is Kiser Pride, our students will strive to uphold our long upstanding tradition of musical excellence!

Come and join the TRADITION of EXCELLENCE of the Kiser Middle School Band! It’s not too late!! 

7th and 8th grade band students-First day of rehearsal is August 30th! You will need instruments. I am excited about getting started! 

6th grade band will need instruments and supplies in class on September 6. There are still spots available to join the band!!
