General Greene’s Annual Fundraising Event

Walk 4 Greene is our biggest fundraiser of the school year! And we have good news – there is nothing to buy, and nothing to sell! No wrapping paper, cookie dough or candy involved! Students and their families collect donations for our school from friends and family, and every $$ collected goes straight to General Greene! This year our goal is to raise $25,000!
The majority of our PTA budget comes from the money we collect from Walk 4 Greene. And just as the name suggests, all the funds collected are used FOR General Greene students and teachers. We use these funds to provide things like science lab supplies, updated technology for our classrooms, and enrichment events for students that district funding does not cover.
Mark your calendars to join us on October 26 to walk the track with your child during their specials period! Information packets & collection envelops will be sent home in Tuesday folders on October 2. Collection envelops, and all donations must be returned by Monday, October 22 to qualify for prizes! Prizes this year will include VIP Classroom passes, Kona Ice treats, and the opportunity to slime a teacher!
Cash and check donations are gladly accepted and can be given to your friendly General Greene Gator or mailed directly to the school.
