    6th Grade: Computer Skills and Applications

    • In this course, students are taught to use computers efficiently. Keyboarding speed and accuracy are emphasized. You will learn the touch method of key method of typing with all ten fingers.  You will also be introduced to word processing through GOOGLE APPS and MS Office.

    7th Grade: Intro to Office Productivity

    This is an advanced word processing course. Office applications in MS Office and Google will be used to produce professional documents like memos, business letters, agendas, student resumes, and spreadsheets. You will also be introduced with higher learning options, i.e., magnet schools, trade schools, and college.

    8th Grade: Computer Skills and Applications

    Course Description:

    This course will introduce you to the basics of business, marketing and entrepreneurship. Throughout the course, you’ll gain awareness of career opportunities, and will practice completing business tasks. You will polish your professionalism by focusing on leadership and team building skills. By the end of the school year, you should know how to incorporate practical business skills to real life experiences.
