Degrees and Certifications:

Dr. Crystal Gregory

My name is Dr. Crystal Gregory and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Parkview Village Elementary School. I am honored to serve the Parkview Village community and look forward to working with our dedicated and dynamic staff, parents, and community members. But, most importantly, I am looking forward to working with our students and continuing their efforts towards excellence in academics, arts, and character.

My passion for education began when I became a mother. As a mother, of two wonderful children, I appreciate the knowledge our parents bring as their child's first teacher. I look forward to building a partnership with our parents that expresses the school's sincere gratitude for the wonderful children you send to Parkview Village each day. I believe that through an active home-school partnership our students will achieve great things. In addition to the support of our parents, I also value the support of our community partners. When just one of our students succeeds it is a victory for our Parkview Village family and the High Point community at large.

Although my passion for education began when I became a mother; my drive for teaching and learning began over 16 years ago when I became a classroom teacher in an elementary school within the Guilford County Schools System. Upon leaving the classroom, I became a Curriculum Coordinator in an elementary school located in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools System. However, my love for the wonderful children of Guilford County Schools drew me back and most recently I have served as an Assistant Principal at Irving Park Elementary.

As I join the Parkview Village Family, I am personally inspired by the challenge that lies ahead of us to grow our school by beginning each day with a focus on cultivating a climate of trust and equity that builds upon each of our ideas, beliefs, and values. As we begin this new school year, the students will be at the center of all we do and deserve our commitment to creating a culturally responsive school environment. In our quest for excellence, as a family, we will boldly and courageously overcome all obstacles to ensure the success of our students. I truly believe that our best days are yet to come! I welcome your input and look forward to the opportunities to hear from each of you regarding the strengths and needs of our wonderful school. Again, it is my extreme pleasure to serve as the principal of Parkview Village.
