Why apply to GCMC?

Students who apply to GCMC are students who are looking for a small and nurturing learning environment that is engaging and challenging. Students who apply are capable of handling Honors, AP and college-level coursework. Students who have tons of potential and are aiming to attend college after high school graduation, should apply to GCMC to get the support and guidance they need to finish their last two years of high school with college credits.  Our small inviting school community provides an environment where students feel welcomed and supported by school staff members.  

What is the application and admissions process?

Interested students should apply during the GCS Choice Program application window, which is October 9th to November 22nd. Please start by logging on to https://gcsnc.schoolmint.net. Once your application is completed with all required documents and reviewed, you will be notified by the district if you have been offered a seat in our program.  Students have two weeks to accept their offer.  If a student does not accept the offer within the allotted time frame, their application will become inactive for GCMC.
