Teacher Introduction:  

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Vikki Johnson proud Music Specialist at Frazier Elementary.  I have taught music for over 30 years and 16 of those at Frazier Elementary in Guilford County. I am presently serving as Teacher of the Year 2020-2021. I attended undergraduate school at Jackson State University in Jackson Mississippi.  I have a Master's Degree from Florida International University in Miami Florida.  My husband and I have three children and four grandchildren.  I enjoy traveling, reading a good book, and spending time with my grandchildren.  My hope this year is that we will Rise Up and Awaken the Giant by logging on weekly to complete assignments, being an active participant, and enjoying the musical activities.

Welcome to Frazier Elementary Music Program! 

I am excited to begin a new school year here at Frazier Elementary where we Rise Up and Awaken the Giant!.  It is my hope to awaken a new and extended interest in the arts for our students as they matriculate through our enthusiastic, active, and informative Music curriculum.

Students will attend music class once a week and experience music throughout the full musical spectrum.  Students will perform on multiple instruments and explore interesting vocal timbres. Grades will be determined by participation, knowledge, and skill acquisition. It's important that your child be prepared for every class so as not to miss valuable practice and learning time.
