I want to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Vanessa Palmer-Shepard and I am excited and thrilled to be your child’s First Grade Teacher. I am a 2012 graduate from University of Mount Olive with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. This is my fifth year teaching and I am excited to be here, and for the opportunity to share my fun and exciting learning ideas with your child.

This new start for your child will be awesome and positive. Together we will work our hardest on helping your child reach his or her full potential. We will also have many wonderful and exciting experiences and opportunities to learn and grow this year.
