Welcome to Mr. Comers' Homepage

WELCOME to the Andrews Aviation Academy!  My name is Mr. Comer, I am the aviation instructor here at the academy.  I have spent the last 25 years in the aviation industry. My certifications include Private Pilot, Airframe and Powerplant Technician and Aircraft Maintenance Inspector.  Some of my other interests include machining, drafting and mechanical engineering. When I am not teaching at the academy, I can usually be found at the local airport performing aircraft maintenance on customer planes or flying.  I own two airplanes of my own, the first I restored several years ago and one I am currently restoring. I also enjoy building and flying radio control model aircraft and I am an active member of the Central Carolina Radio Control Modelers.  I enjoy teaching others the knowledge I have gained throughout my career.
