ADOBE VISUAL DESIGN -(Adobe Academy)
This course is a project-based course that develops ICT, career, and communication skills in print and graphic design using Adobe tools. This course is aligned to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator certifications. Strong communication skills are necessary and English language arts standards are reinforced. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course include job shadowing. Apprenticeships and cooperative education are possible for this course. SkillsUSA competitive events, community service, and leadership activities provide the opportunity to apply essential standards and workplace readiness skills through authentic experiences.
ADOBE VIDEO DESIGN
This course is a project-based video course that develops career and communication skills in video production using Adobe tools. This course is aligned with Adobe Premiere certification. Strong communication skills are necessary and English language arts standards are reinforced. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course may include job shadowing. Apprenticeships and cooperative education are possible for this course. SkillsUSA competitive events, community service, and leadership activities will provide the opportunity to apply essential standards and workplace readiness skills through authentic experiences.

MEDIA PRODUCTIONS I
Students will work in a fully equipped industry-standard broadcast studio and film studio. This course is intended to prepare students for careers in film, television production, live broadcasting, scriptwriting, on-air graphics, audio engineering, pre-production and postproduction, and talent development. After completion of this course, students will have the required experience to obtain employment or entry into a post-secondary education program in the audio and video technology career field.
SkillsUSA, FBLA and TSA are examples of, appropriate organizations for providing leadership training and/or for reinforcing specific career and technical skills and may be considered an integral part of the instructional program.
Career Field: Director, Producer, Videographer, Technical Director, Audio Director, Talent and Editor.

MEDIA PRODUCTION II
Students will continue to enhance this knowledge and skills in the 2nd level of this course. This course is intended to prepare students for careers in film, television production, live broadcasting, scriptwriting, on-air graphics, audio engineering, pre-production and postproduction, and talent development. After completion of this course, students will have the required experience to obtain employment or entry into a post-secondary education program in the audio and video technology career field. Students will be able to produce and direct their own shows.
