Battle of the Books

  •    BOB is for 4th and 5th-grade students who love to read. Those students who participate in Battle of the Books (BOB) read books from a list established by the state Battle of the Books committee.

At Florence, we meet after the school day as a club and participate in a quiz-bowl-style tournaments to test our knowledge of these books.

In January, our club is narrowed down to 12 students who represent Florence at the district BOB competition in March. For the year 2020-21, all our practices are virtual, as well as the competition in March.

If you are interested in participating, begin reading the books now. Here is a list of all books. All titles are available in Destiny Discover either as an ebook or an audiobook.
