Helpful Information to start the year located belowTrumpet Fundamentals Winter Workshop Scheduled for January with Russ GaffneyProfessional teaching artist Russ Gaffney will be teaching a virtual workshop for middle and high school students each Thursday during the month of January. Middle school sessions will be from 4 - 4:30 p.m. and high school sessions will be from 5 - 5:30 p.m. All sessions will be virtual.· Jan. 7 - "Warm Up": Learn the importance of Warm Up and Warm Down· Jan. 14 - "Flexibility": Learn why the Tongue is not just for Articulation.· Jan. 21 - "Range": Learn effective techniques for increasing your range to High C and beyond.· Jan. 28 - "What Have You Learned?": Showcase what you have learned.Registration Deadline: Monday, Dec. 14.Cost: $100 ($25 per lesson) *If a student cannot afford this workshop, Reach out and let us know how GCS Arts can help.*Full payment of $100 or $25 per session must be made by Friday, Jan. 29.
