Welcome to Animal Science! I look forward to having each of you in class and getting to know you!

I also would like to invite you to join FFA! We participate in many activities both in and out of school, such as:

* Career Development Events (CDEs): These are competitions that FFA members have the opportunity to compete in to prepare them for careers in agriculture.

* FFA Events: FFA Camp, State FFA Convention, National FFA Convention, Leadership Conventions, Ag Fest, and many, many, more!

* SEHS FFA Events: State Fair, FFA Day, Leadership opportunities (FFA Officer or Chairperson), Community service, Etc. 

Here is a little about me!

I graduated from Southeast Guilford High School. While here, I was active in our FFA for all four years and held two offices: Secretary and Student Advisor. After graduating, I attended GTCC for two years. I then transferred to NC A&T State University where I got my degree in Agriculture Education. I moved down to the coast and taught animal science at a high school there, and then I got the opportunity to come back to Southeast and teach here! I am so excited to be back here at Southeast! I know we are going to have a great year! Go Falcons!
