• Welcome to Mrs. Burr's 5th grade class!!! We are excited about reading and working to build greater vocabularies.  

     

    I have been teaching for 20 years and all of my experience is in upper elementary. I attend Meredith College and received a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing.  I then attended Scranton University and received a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.  I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade and I have served as an AG teacher.  I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters, Ava (1) and Reese (11).  I love to read, cook , play golf and be outside doing anything with my family.

     

    Students receive weekly ELA homework on Monday and it is due on Friday.  Please work with your child to read the passage and complete the questions.
