¡Hola! My name is Melisa Palma.  I am originally from Puerto Rico but grew up in the United States on military installations.  I am a proud UNCG graduate.  I have two boys who I enjoy spending time and playing sports with. This year is my 17th year of teaching and my 3rd at Southwest Guilford High School.  I started my teaching career in Randolph County as a middle school Spanish teacher.  After 3 years I decided I wanted to teach high school and began teaching at Asheboro High School.  I stayed for 10 years during which I taught all levels of Spanish from 1 to AP.  After a year in Concord, NC where I taught IB Spanish 2 and 3, I decided to come to Southwest Guilford High School.  I look forward to teaching you this year!
