• Welcome to Mrs. Rex's teacher page!

I am an Exceptional Children's resource and inclusion teacher at Guilford Elementary. I love working with children with disabilities, and I believe that all students can reach their full potential when provided with systematic, individualized instruction and compassionate care. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and have college degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. In my free time, I love to read and spend time outside.

This year, I serve students in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades with mild to moderate disabilities in small group and whole class settings. Mr. Coston and Ms. Whisonant are two of the Exceptional Children's teacher assistants that work with my students.

Please see below for my classroom schedule.

If you would like to contact me, please call the school at (336) 316-5844 or email me at rexe@gcsnc.com.
