Hello Jaguar Nation,

My name is Nicia George and I am excited to serve as the 8th-grade Assistant Principal of Otis L. Hairston Middle School.  Although this is my 18th year in education, I have been a member of the Jaguar family since January 2018. I previously taught 6th - 8th-grade Mathematics and served as the curriculum facilitator at Allen Middle School. Many would consider me a country girl as I am from a small town near the southeastern border of the state called, Chadbourn, NC.   

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Computer Technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Aggie Pride!)  I have a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.  I received a Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree from High Point University allowing me to hold a School Administrators License.  

I am the mother of one son, Landon, and I look forward to working with each and every one of you as we embark on this new journey in education.
