Greetings and welcome to the wonderful world of kindergarten! My name is Mr. Legrande and I am from a small town by the name of High Point, NC.  My Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Burns, and my first grade teacher, Mrs. Stowe, inspired me to choose the field of education.  I am a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University with a B.A degree in Birth to Kindergarten Education. 

It has been 10 years of facilitating excellence through planning, implementing, collaborating and instructing young minds.  There is never a dull moment within the realms of Kinderworld.  I began my journey with GCS in 2007, being a substitute teacher, and continuing as an instructional kindergarten assistant in 2009.  I became a lead kindergarten teacher in 2016.  I absolutely love what I do and would not change career fields.  I believe that all children can learn if given the opportunity.  Kindergarten is the foundation for all learning.  It is my mission to provide a caring, nurturing, print-rich environment for all children.
