Hi! I am Franklin Gray Scott, Jr. from Williamston located in Northeastern NC. I will be changing from 7th-grade science to teaching 6th-grade science officially on 08/26/2019.
I graduated high school at the NC School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, NC. I earned my B.S. degree in Industrial Technology with a specialization in Electronics from Elizabeth City State University. Also, I received my teaching certification from East Carolina University.
I am a veteran of the US Army Military Intelligence where I maintained and repaired computer systems related to aviation and electronic warfare.
Currently, I am a 19-year veteran STEM teacher with three certifications in Middle Grades Mathematics, Middle Grades Science, and Technology Education. During my years of teaching, I have taught 6th-grade science and math, 7th-grade science and math, 8th-grade science and math, Math 1 / Algebra I (8th grade), and high school Algebra I and Geometry.
