¡Hola! I am Señora Jordanov, the Spanish Teacher at the NC A&T Middle College. This is the second year I have had the privilege of teaching Spanish I, II, III and Spanish for Heritage Speakers at the NCAT Middle College and it is my 19th year working for GCS. l taught Spanish and ESL at Ben L. Smith and High Point Central High Schools; I also coordinated the World Languages and Global Education programs for GCS. As an English teacher in Argentina, I taught English K-16.

I have always been passionate about teaching and learning about different cultures. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, teaching my own language and about my culture makes me feel I can offer my students a unique experience. With my parents originating from Bulgaria and Argentina, I identify my background as the reason for my love of languages and cultures and my capacity to blur the borders of differences. One of my goals is to instill in my students the curiosity to learn and investigate about the world that lies beyond their regular environments.

I completed my BA in English Education at the Superior Council of Catholic Education in Buenos Aires, Argentina and my MA in TESOL at Greensboro College. And, as I believe that we never stop learning, I am starting my PhD in Education this summer.
