The Morehead ACES Program provides quality academic, enrichment and recreational activities for students currently enrolled at Morehead Expressive Arts Magnet School. The program is licensed with a 4 Star Rating from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and a Superior Rating from the Guilford County Health Department
ACES is offered from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. every day when school is in session for students. ACES is closed on school holidays and Teacher Workdays.
The tuition fee is $75.00 a week. ACES Tuition Fees are due in full on the Wednesday before service. If your payment is not made by that time, a $15.00 late fee will be added to your account. Also. please pick up your child and sign them out electronically by 6:00 p.m. Any time you are late picking up your child, you will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute past 6:01 p.m. with a $15.00 late fee if your payment for the week is not made on Monday. The ACES Program will continue to accept subsidy payments from agencies such as the Department of Social Services (DSS) and Guilford Child Development (GCD).
ACES activities include: SEL (Social Emotional Learning), KidzLit® Literacy Program, Nature and Science Activities, Academic Time, CATCH® Kids Physical Fitness Activities, VersaTiles® Math Program, Computer Lab, Centers, and Special Events. A nutritional snack is provided by School Nutritonal Services daily.
