Ms. Besong’s Fabulous EC Platform

Hello, students, I will be your Inclusion teacher for Math I, Math II, English II, and English IV for the first semester, and for the second semester, I will be the inclusion teacher for English IV, III, and I for the 2020-2021 School Year. I also serve as a case manager. My vision is to work with the parents, community, and most especially my EC students so that they achieve their IEP goals and go beyond their expectations, provide students with accommodations, and advocate for them when necessary.

My name is Queen Susan Besong. I am from Cameroon, a small country located on the West Coast of Africa. I am blessed to hail from a country that is known for its excellent soccer skills, and whose national languages are English and French. However, I did all of my studies in English and French language. I can also speak Chinese “wǒ ài měi guó ， wǒ ài wǒ de xué shēng(Hello, I love America, I love my students).” I have a post-graduate degree in Special Education, and I love working with Special Education students. This will be my 3rd year teaching at Ben L. Smith High School. GO EAGLES!!!

Due to COVID-19, the academic year will be a little different. However, do not give up! we are in this together! I look forward to working with my wonderful students and parents.
