Carrie Nicolson

I have been at Florence Elementary for about 10 years.  My family says that I get paid to do my hobby and I think they are correct. I love teaching! In my spare time I enjoy going for small runs with our dog, long walks with our dog, spending time with my family and working on jigsaw puzzles.  

I moved to South Africa with my parents, who were missionaries, when I was 12 years old and lived there for 25 years.  I met and married my husband, John, in Durban, South Africa and our son, Craig, was born there. We return to South Africa every couple of years to visit my husband`s family for a few weeks and always squeeze in a safari (my favorite way to vacation!).
