• Attn All 7th/8th Dance Majors:

     

    Starting next Monday, October 14th dance majors will start dressing out every day. Dancers are required to wear ALL BLACK clothing that you can dance in. This includes: 

    Long leggings, biker shorts (to the knee), tights/leotard/shorts, black plain t-shirts (small or no logos), black long sleeve tops. 

    Any and all sweaters/jackets must be light and something you can move in; (no jean jackets/outdoor wear). Socks ARE allowed and encouraged! No large jewelry. 

     

    Bring a small bag to keep your clothing in and take it home each week/ every other week to wash. Dancers will be assigned (or share) lockers for their clothing. Lockers do not come with locks so do not put anything valuable in your locker unless you plan on bringing a lock! 

     

    Reminder: Black slip on jazz shoes are required by Nov. 1st - write dancers name inside

Bachelor of the Arts in Dance from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Ms. Damman

Katherine Damman (Burlington, NC) studied dance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a degree in Dance with K-12 Licensure and Arts Administration. She was a part of the UNCG Spartan G’s Dance team for four years and she served as their captain for two years. Besides teaching at Lincoln, Katherine teaches dance to young students at Dance Project, a non profit organization in downtown Greensboro. She will also be performing a piece choreographed by Clarice Young in the NC Dance festival this fall.
