Mr. Reynolds

Hello there!  My name is Christian Reynolds, and I teach English I and English I Honors.  I am looking forward to an awesome 2019/2020 school year.  I have a deep passion for the art of language, and I can't wait to share it.

A little about me...

I grew up in New Jersey, but attended Guilford College in Greensboro and majored in English Literature.  After working in restaurants for over a decade, I decided to go back to school and earned my Master of Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After graduation I found a home at Southeast Middle School in Kernersville, NC, where I taught 6th grade Language Arts for six years.  This summer, I was offered to teach in my own community after 20 years, and I couldn't resist the opportunity!  At Grimsley, I hope to be able to spread my love of literature and writing.  I published my first book, a memory of elephants, a collection of poetry, in the fall of 2018.  Also, I live right down the street with my wife, Courtney, and our two dogs, Rey and Quin.
