All About Ms. Dawkins

    I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, my oldest son and I live in Greensboro, NC with two cats, Mystery and Nibbles.  My horse, Tippy, lives with his friends Colonel and Caesar at the stables.  My daughter returned to Cleveland after graduating from NC State to begin her career.

     My first year of teaching was with Alamance Burlington School System and, for the past plus twenty years, I have been working in Guilford County Schools.  I have taught 8th, 6th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd grades.  I am excited about continuing working in 2nd grade, being at Stokesdale Elementary School. My teaching philosophy is to love and care for all students, as I provide a rigorous learning environment in which students will feel safe and feel motivated to do their BEST!
