Welcome to our Kindergarten classroom!

 My name is Nidhi Kumar. I teach Kindergarten with Mrs. Lathery. I have a birth to kindergarten teaching licensure from Greensboro College. This is my 9th year at Jefferson Elementary. I am so excited to have your child in my class. We are going to have a wonderful year!

The structure of daily events in this classroom is carefully planned to encourage children's independence and self-confidence through creative play and participation in a variety of hands-on, interactive experiences. I encourage children's learning through engagement in reciprocal conversations, creative learning, interesting materials, various forms of technology and fun manipulatives.
