• Welcome to 7th grade Language Arts!  

    This is my second year teaching at Northwest Guilford after 19 years of teaching in Wake and Rockingham counties.  Before college I served in the US Army, and then attended NC State University and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Middle Grades Education- Language Arts and Social Studies.  I later completed my M.Ed. from Western Governors University in Learning and Technology.

    I am a HUGE NC State Wolfpack and Carolina Panthers fan.  I am also a HUGE book nerd!  I will be pushing and recommending books to students all year long, and I love to talk books whenever possible.
