Welcome to chorus! My name is Ms. Porter and this is my first year at Jamestown Middle School. I earned a BA in Music Education (Vocal) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have been singing since elementary school and also play piano. My goal is to make singing fun while also challenging students, exposing them to different genres of music and cultures around the world, and give them tools to make music outside of school. In my free time I’m usually reading, painting, or doing something outdoors.
