Welcome to Ms. Hooker's Homepage!

My name is Kayla Hooker and I am a Biomedical Science teacher here at the Academy at Smith. I teach the Project Lead the Way Pathway which includes Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, and Medical Interventions. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. This is my third year teaching, but not my first time being associated with the Academy. I was a part of the Biomedical track and graduated from the Academy in 2014! I look forward to the semester ahead and plan for this year to be a great year!
