Hello.  Thank you for visiting my page.  I am Mrs. Ferguson and this begins my 13th year of teaching.  I began my career at Pleasant Garden Elementary School, where I did my student teaching in 3rd grade and taught 1st grade.  I taught at Vandalia Christian School for seven years; 4 years teaching 4-year old kindergarten, and 3 years in 3rd grade.  In 2019, I joined the Simkins Shark family teaching 2nd grade.  This is my 5th year being a 2nd grade Simkins Shark teacher.

I am married to my husband Bobby (29 years). We have three children; Brandon (an accountant), Sierra (an elementary teacher at Gibsonville), and Isaac (U.S. Army currently stationed in Romania).

I enjoy reading, traveling, and visiting beautiful beaches.  My professional goal for this year is to take more time for my students and get to know them for who they are, not just their academic levels.  My personal goal is to prioritize my time and be a better wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
