I am the Career and College Manager (CCM). I am your career facilitating agent, who works to ensure students are guided into talent pipelines for in-demand, high-skilled, and/or high wage occupations that align with the student's passions, knowledge, skills, and interests. 

I am excited to be working with students here at Southern Guilford High School (SGHS) for another year. I have worked in education for more than 25 years. I am certified in Business Education and Marketing Education. I have taught a wide variety of classes such as Marketing, Marketing Management, Fashion Merchandising, Sports and Entertainment Marketing I & II, Hospitality and Tourism, Principles of Business and Finance, Personal Finance, Microsoft Excel, and Entrepreneurship. I have also taught AP and Honors Computer Science Principles which fall in the Information Technology category. I earned my undergraduate degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and my Master's in Educational Leadership from High Point University. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix where I have completed all but my dissertation. I have also taught Marketing classes at Davidson County Community College. 

I am a family orientated person and enjoy spending time with my husband and children as well as extended family. I am a founding member of The Sister Circle Inc. and enjoy spending time with my sisters. I also enjoy traveling nationally as well as internationally. Belize and Mexico are two of my favorite international vacation spots.
