My name is Ms. Pickett.

I have been with Guilford County Schools for 13 years now. I started off with 11 years as an assistant in Pre-K. I am now in my second year of teaching 2nd grade here at Parkview. I have obtained my Associate's in Early Childhood Education from GTCC and my Bachelor's in Child Development from Ashford University. I have taken some educational classes at A&T State University along with UNCG. I have two children (12, 17). I enjoy teaching every chance that I get.  I enjoy encouraging others and pushing them to be the very BEST version of themselves that they can be. I enjoy having fun and learning new things with new people. Whatever I have in me, I want to share it with as many individuals that I can. I believe that Knowledge is Power and Reading is Fundamental. You can be, you can do anything that you put your mind to. No one knows who or what you will become. Always dream and never stop dreaming.
