Hey Jaguar Family, 

My name is Alana Hughes and I am excited to be one of your Health and PE Teachers for the 2020-2021 school year. I am originally from Syracuse, NY (home of the Syracuse Orangeman and best known for snow, snow and more snow) This is my 2^nd year teaching Health and PE at Hairston, although I have been in the field of education in one way or another for over 10 years. I have been in the field of Health and Wellness for over 10 years, and am co-owner of a mobile fitness business.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Columbia College and currently pursuing my Masters from Liberty University.
