L'anika Morehead

Hello Hairston Family,

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year!  My name is L'anika Morehead and I am the Innovative Partnership Grant (IPG) Coach.  This is my second year at The Hairston, but in a new role.  Last year I was the Instructional Coach.  I started working in Education as a High School Science teacher 12 years ago and am qualified to teach both Middle and High School Science.  In the past 12 years, I have worked in both the Traditional School and the Alternative School setting for Guilford County.

I attended UNC Charlotte where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism.  I also attended UNC Greensboro and completed the Pre-Pharmacy Program.  My most recent degree obtained was a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) concentrating on Strategic Human Resource Management from Grand Canyon University.  Currently, I am enrolled in the School Administrator’s licensure program at Gardner-Webb.
