Mrs. Mitchell has over 15 years of public education experience and is very passionate about technology in digital teaching and learning. She attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Elizabeth City State University. VIKING PRIDE!!

During her first year of teaching in Bertie County Schools in Windsor, NC (hometown), she found her passion for helping teachers with technology in the classroom. She went on to enroll at Liberty University and attained a Master of Education in Educational Technology and later attained an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Mitchell started her career as an Instructional Technology Facilitator in Wake County Public School System where she also served as a Career Development Coordinator. Mrs. Mitchell is currently the Instructional Technology Facilitator at The Middle College at UNCG.
