Greetings Parents,

The Exceptional Children’s Department at High Point Central High School is responsible for serving our students with disabilities.  The EC teacher is responsible for following the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) by supporting the goals and services as stated in the document.  Our Department consists of the Occupational Course of Study, the Life Skills Adapted Program and our Inclusion Services provided to students in regular education classrooms.

The Exceptional Children’s Department advocates for our students by providing modifications and accommodations for classroom assignments and standardized testing.  We strive to be a liaison between our parents, students, and school.  Case managers will be contacting parents throughout the year to schedule IEP meetings.
