I am Brittney Dennis, I joined the Lindley School Elementary family and community in January of 2020. I am an alumni of the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. This is my ninth year working as an educator in Guilford County. I have served in many surrounding schools, Jackson Middle, Parkview Elementary, Bessemer Elementary, and Irving Park Elementary. I have experiences in second, third, fourth, and sixth grade. In addition to being an educator, I am a life long learner, on May 11, 2020 I earned my Masters in Administration.I am also an advocate for public schools, as well as a county curriculum writer. Beginning Teacher Support is a passion of mine, I work closely with NCAE and NEA to support new educators through socials and Virtual Labs.
My favorite job is being a mom. My husband, Newton Dennis and I have the wonderful role of being parents to an awesome five year old, Britton, who is currently working his way through Kindergarten. He is the best part of all my days. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ®
My goal is to support the entire staff as much as I can, learn as much as possible from all whom I encounter; while sharing all my different experiences and trainings I feel will grow educators and guide all students to success.
