• Ms. Natson's Counseling Corner

Hello! My name is Renee Natson and I am the School Counselor. This is my second year as a School Counselor at Frazier. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and enjoy making a difference in the lives of our youth. My professional philosophy can be explained in the following quote: "Failure is not and option and mediocrity is not the standard." This quote reminds us of the value of persevering, even when the going gets tough. Persevering allows us to keep pushing through life no matter how tough the situation is. (Besides there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.)

Favorites: Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with loved ones, take photos with my polaroid camera, admire nature, and travel. Education: North Carolina Central Univeristy: BA in Mass Communications/ Broadcast Media

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University: MS in School Counseling

Vision: During Guidance Class we focus on a number of topics such as: Dealing With Emotions, Positive Decision Making, Coping Skills, Conflict Resolution and much more. Even though students do not receive a letter grade for my class it is very important that students engage and interact so that they can learn about themselves, and have meaningful conversations while having fun with their peers.

Goal for Guidance: In December we will be focusing on Friendship and The Power of Empathy
