    Hello everyone! I'm Mrs. Siggers. I am so excited to be your School Library Media Coordinator.

    I began my career in education teaching STEM at Alamance Community School, a new charter school in Alamance County. In November of 2020, I was happy to accept an offer for the School Library Media Coordinator position here at Southeast Middle.  My goal as a Media Specialist is to create an open and inviting space where students can not only find the perfect book, but also explore and think critically about ideas while learning skills to access and evaluate information. I aim to create engaging programs and select books that every student can see themselves reflected in as well as books that give them better insight into others. I look forward to continuing to learn with our Falcons!
