Maneko Reid

My name is Maneko Reid and I am your new part-time counselor! This will be my very first year as a school counselor and I am very excited to begin that journey here at Florence. I graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2020 with Master's degrees in both School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. In 2016, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with Bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. I have lived in Greensboro for majority of my life, but also spent some time living in High Point as well. Guilford County Schools is the primary district that educated me so it was only right I return as staff! I love eating, reading, traveling, adventures, and did I mention eating?! Fun fact: In 2019 I spent 2 weeks traveling abroad in Europe...by myself! 

I can't wait to get to know you all and vice versa. I know we will have a great school year!
