Welcome to Northwest Guilford Middle School,

     It is my pleasure to serve as the principal at Northwest Guilford Middle School.  I have been a part of the Northwest community for several years serving as the principal at Oak Ridge Elementary since 2011.  I love being a member of this community - where parents and teachers work together to serve our students and build positive relationships that allow students to reach their full potential. 

     I have served as a teacher and principal in Guilford County Schools since 1994.  I was a 2^nd and 4^th grade teacher before becoming the principal at Peeler Open School for the Performing Arts in 2004.  I then served for five years as the principal at Greensboro College Middle College before becoming the principal at Oak Ridge during the 2010-2011 school year.  It is very exciting to begin a new chapter in middle school!  I am excited to see my former Oak Ridge students, but I am also eager to meet our other students who are from the additional feeder pattern elementary schools. 

      Northwest Guilford Middle School is an excellent school with a staff dedicated to providing all students with active, relevant and meaningful learning opportunities!  We aim to strengthen character and foster respectful citizenship each day where our Vikings S.A.I.L. - Show Responsibility, Act Respectfully, Invest with Integrity and Live Responsibly! I look forward to working our staff, students, families and the community!
